In the case of our float glass furnaces, we draw on a worldwide approach based on research and exchange of best practices within the AGC group. AGC Glass Europe was the first in Europe to introduce a combustion method offering significant energy savings, at its plant in Boussois (France).
The same care for the environment is to be found in our processed products. By introducing the first “ecological” mirror without copper or lead, AGC Glass Europe revolutionised the way mirrors are made. Offering higher quality than traditional mirrors, Mirox New Generation Ecological is cleaner both during initial production and during subsequent processing (bevelling, grinding etc.).
