Awards and certifications

2012

• Prize for Most Innovative Company :   AGC Flat Glass Czech has been awarded the prize for the most innovative company at the Czech Innovation 2011 awards, thanks to its implementation of the InnoWiz programme.  

2011

• Cradle to Cradle certification (silver): AGC Glass Europe is the first glass manufacturer to be awarded this certification for float and coated glasses

2009

• Best Innovator Award Belgium 2009: AGC Glass Europe was awarded this prize in the Large Company category  by the international strategy consultant A.T. Kearney
• Prix de l’Innovation Technologique en Wallonie 2009 (Award for Technological Innovation in Wallonia 2009): AGC's range of extra-clear glasses for architectural and solar applications was awarded this prize in the Large Company category

2008

• Two M Technology Awards: One for AntiBacterial GlassTM and the other for Mirox 3G mirror at the ZOW International Furniture tradeshow in Germany
• Trophée Source-à-ID (Source-à-ID trophy): AGC won this prize – awarded by the online magazine Source-à-ID – in the Technique & Development category at the Rénover trade fair in Paris for three of its latest innovations: Glassiled, Mirox 3G mirror and AntiBacterial GlassTM

2007

• Trophées du design (Design trophy) gold medal: Glassiled was awarded a gold medal in the Trophées du design competition when it was unveiled at the international construction products trade fair Batimat in Paris. This award honours companies which have successfully incorporated new industrial design features into their development strategies.
• Batimat d’Or: AntiBacterial GlassTM was honoured with the Batimat d’Or, the highest prize awarded to a construction product in any field at Batimat, the world's largest international construction trade fair held in Paris. The Batimat d'Or recognises and promotes innovation in the construction industry.
• Prix belge de l’Environnement (Belgian Award for the Environment): AGC received this award for its third-generation ecological mirror, Mirox 3G.

2005

• Concours de l’Innovation (Innovation Competition), silver medal: EnergyNT, the first toughenable glazing offering enhanced thermal and solar protection, was awarded this medal at the international construction trade fair Batimat in Paris
